We consume various types of foods to provide nutritional support to our organism. Generally, perishable foods contain high moisture. It includes vegetables, soft fruits, meat, poultry, fish, etc. Semi-perishable foods contain natural inhibitors to delay spoilage. The category of these food includes root vegetables, honey, etc. The moisture containing these foods ranges from 20 to 70%. Non-perishable foods, the food does not spoil readily contains moisture lesser than 15%. This category of food includes nuts, resins, cereals, etc.
